In this full-scale renovation of a flat in the Born neighborhood of Barcelona, a quality lighting system highlights the valuable architectural elements and enhances the historical character of the building.
The lighting proposal combined different resources to create the desired atmosphere when brought together, while also showcasing the relevant architectural elements. The main lighting for the living, dining, and kitchen areas was supplied through several spotlight luminaires which were not only functional but also eye-catching when looking up at the Catalan vaulted ceiling.
In addition, the integrated shelve lighting emphasized its structural character. Finally, the interior of the main facade was washed with indirect illumination from gold leaf-coated linear luminaires that reflect light and created a toned accent on the wall.
